Why is the maximum shipping length 95″?
All parcel delivery companies, including UPS, USPS, and FedEx impose extremely high surcharges on packages longer than 96″. The longest railing section we can ship, allowing for protective packaging, is 95″.
Handrail kits longer than 95″ that are purchased using the Handrail Configurator will be supplied in multiple sections with one or more splices included automatically. The splice installs internally in the channel of the handrail. There will be a small visible butt connection where the two handrails meet.
Splice Kits can also be purchased separately.
